How does Car Rental 8’s online booking system work?

Booking at is quite easy. Simply select your preferred dates, car, and location.  Once selected, you will then need to provide driver details and payment information. Our system automatically takes your information and confirms the vehicle availability with one of our major car suppliers. Once confirmed, you will receive an email that has all of the information necessary to pick up the vehicle including the supplier name, location, and pickup and drop-off hours. Because you have prepaid, you get the very best rate and are guaranteed the vehicle of your choice.

Are you a legitimate company?

Yes, Car Rental 8 is a real company based in Florida, the rental car capital of the world. We negotiate contracts with major car rental suppliers and pass the savings on to you by using online technology to manage the reservation process. Our dedicated staff consists of former car rental managers that love sharing their knowledge and insight to getting the best deals possible.

Are taxes and fees included in the price?

Taxes and fees depend on the type of product you are purchasing. For basic car rentals, the rental period for the vehicle and unlimited mileage is included. Taxes and fees are collected at pickup by the supplier, as they vary by location. We provide an estimate through our booking system for your reference on basic car rentals.

For international car rental destinations from the USA, or rental car bookings from international travelers to the USA, we offer all-inclusive packages. These packages will include taxes and fees as part of the package.

What is your cancellation policy?

We are able to offer such low prices because we sell countless prepaid rental car reservations; however, we understand that travel plans may change. If you need to cancel, do it as early as possible. The fee is minimal when cancelling 24 hours before pickup. If you cancel after the pickup date, we cannot offer a refund, as the supplier will charge us for holding the vehicle (which could have been given to another traveler). We care about customers and their car rental experiences, so please call or email us as soon as possible if you need to cancel...We understand, we are flexible, and we will try our very best to keep fees to a minimum.

Where do I pick up the car?

After your reservation is confirmed, you will pick up the car from the major car supplier listed on your prepaid car rental voucher. We have had customers contact us looking for Car Rental 8, but then realize that the location is actually printed on their voucher as Dollar, Alamo, Hertz, or some other brand.

Will you match a lower rate that I found online?

We will always do our best to earn your business, but sometimes you may find a deal that is too good to pass up, and we understand. We will attempt to match for like product, period, and location. Our specialty is major brands at airport locations though, so we may not be able to beat offsite competitors. If you are unsure about rates, please contact our team and give us a chance to match or beat your existing rate.

Why do I have to pay now? Can I just reserve?

Our low rates are based on confirmed car pickups with major suppliers. By prepaying, you are getting the best rate for early confirmation and a guarantee that your car will not be given to someone else who only reserved and did not pay.
